Many persons applying for Social Security disability or SSI want to tell Social Security that no one will hire them. All this does is prove you are unemployed–not that you are disabled. Sometimes a person will be denied and Social Security will suggest that the person can do a particular job. The fact that you can’t support your family doing that job makes no difference in the disability process. It doesn’t make any difference whether you would like to do the suggested job or you think would not be good at the job. What about if technology changes in the industry you have worked in and you don’t have the new skills. What about the when the economy drops and there are no new jobs. This is not about really getting a job!!!
