In a Social Security Disability claim, what is “Substantial Gainful Activity”? (SGA)

That is any significant and productive physical or mental worth activity which is done for wages or generated self employment income or profit that averaged more per month than as described below.

2017——-$1170 per month

2018———-$1180 per month

2019———–$1220 per month

2020———–$ 1260 per month

2021———–$1310 per month

This is important because if your earning more than these amounts you are not disabled under Social Security rules. Even if you are working part-time it will raise a red flag to the Social Security Administration.
